How does iDeal work?
Through the iDeal-button on the site of the webshop the customer selects his own bank after which a request for payment is sent to the chosen bank. After that, the customer logs in at the internet banking environment of the own bank to authorize the payment. If there is enough money on his account, the payment is authorised and also guaranteed for the owner of the webshop. Depending on the bank, the money will be tranferred to your account within 48 hours. Immediately after the authorisation of the payment the shopkeeper can start the delivery of the products and/or services. After the payment has succeeded the shopkeeper receives a confirmation from the bank.
